"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hi, my name is Bryan and I am a hobbyist designer making visual styles for Windows 7 whilst keeping up with my favorite video games like StarCraft II and Diablo III.
When making my designs and visual styles, I really adore the Windows Areo interface, I've just never been a fan of W7 themes that hinder the usability of Windows 7. So The direction and style that I follow are the Areo styles, and not the minimal styles. My aim is for usability, and not taking away from that.
